Who We Are...
Since opening in January 2022, we have created a warm and welcoming 30-place nursery, dedicated to supporting young children and their families.
We offer flexible childcare options, including AM, PM, and full-day sessions, designed to fit around family life.
Our focus is on creating a safe, inspiring space where children can explore, play, and grow.
We provide funded places for children aged 2, 3, and 4 years.
Tax free childcare scheme accepted.
Our fee structure is available for you to view and download in the files and documents section below.

Expressive Arts and Design
Our Curriculum is based on a child centred approach.
Teaching and Learning is built on the child's interest along with a regular cycle of learning related to the seasons, core books, songs, rhymes and poems incorporating all the Early learning goals, enabling children to reach their full potential preparing them for school.
Outdoor learning: We believe outdoor play and exploration are an essential part of learning and growing up. So we have developed our garden to provide children with the greatest variety of experiences, challenges and controlled risks.
The equipment and activities in our garden nurture healthy and active fun through cycling, sand, water play , exploring weather changes, the mud kitchen and our local environment
Healthy eating is explored and encouraged by growing our own vegetables and learning about nature. Being healthy is part of our routine. When it’s time to eat, we all sit together with the children - just as you might do at home, as a family.
For us, mealtimes are about more than nutritious food. They are a time to share stories, strengthen bonds, and deepen relationships - to feed your child emotionally as well as physically.
Children learn through play at Mila Moos Nursery. We encourage the children to be physically active in their early years, creating activities which are fun and motivating. This establishes healthy lifestyle behaviours that they can continue to use in their older childhood.
As such, children use the huge variety of physical activities on offer at the nursery to improve mobility, coordination, balance, physical fitness, hand-eye coordination, agility, physical strength and so on.
This is all done through a learning and development plan that’s tailored to the strengths, weaknesses and preferences of each individual child.
Extra curriculum activities include: drama, music and dance.
Come and meet our experienced Team
Our staff are chosen because they love children, are friendly, experienced and, most of all, are passionate about excellent childcare.
Our Team is dedicated to their roles and have an excellent knowledge of how children learn and develop. They show passion and commitment to delivering the best service for children and their families.
We have a diverse highly qualified Team.
All our staff are qualified in Early Years Education/Childcare Level 3 and above. Our Preschool group benefit from our 2 qualified Early Years Teachers (EYT's).
Staff attend courses to ensure they’re up to date with childcare legislation, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Basic Food Hygiene etc. They may also choose to specialise in areas of particular interest such as Special Educational Needs.
At Mila Moos Nursery we deeply respect the role that parents play as the principal carer in their child’s life and we want to develop a close working relationship with our parents so that we are consistently meeting their family's needs.
We believe that parents should have regular contact with us at all levels, so they are always welcome in our nursery. This facilitates good communication and allows us to work with parents in nurturing their children and ensuring that their needs are being met in every way that we possibly can.
The key person for every child is a vital factor in developing our parent partnership. While the child benefits from having a familiar, reassuring face each day, the parent has a clear point of contact in the nursery and we try to ensure that all key people share as much information with parents as possible, providing feedback at the end of every session and dealing with any concerns.
Once a child has a place confirmed at nursery, a number of settling in sessions will be arranged with the nursery management to ensure that the child has a smooth transition into nursery life.
During these sessions we will gather information about their likes, dislikes, routine and development by asking parents to fill in an All about Me form. Through our settling in sessions we aim to gradually get the children used to attending nursery and being away from their primary carers.
